Master of Sports. He played in basketball club "Motorist" ("Spartacus") until 1980. From 1980 to 1991 he headed BC "Medin”. “Medin” took part in the USSR First League championship and Alexander was a player-coach. In 2000, he began to head the basketball team "NBA", performing at once functions of President, head coach, director and doctor.
