BC "Nizhny Novgorod" continued its winning series with the fifth victory in Eurocup. The defeated Ukranian Khimik from Yuzhne showed decent play throughout the game, but were nevertheless merely crushed in the final quarter. So the result speaks for itself - 86:66

Winning over the Hungarian Alba Fehervar in the 6th Eurocup round, BCNN is now leading its group F without reserve. The lasting series of the 3-pointers from the "citizens" in the first half and the confident play in the end made this victory the reality for our team.

BCNN took over the Czech Nymburk in the away game at the sixth round of VTB United League. The threatening nickname "Czech Lions" didn't seem to affect the mood of the visitors from Nizhny Novgorod. They have lead all the first half, stumbled for a while in the third quarter, but took back its advantage in the final, thus celebrating the well-deserved success.

Basketball Club Nizhny Novgorod left no chance to the Greek PAOK in the home game of Eurocup fifth tour. Since the very start our team took the initiative and did not let go till the very end, defeating the Greeks by 30 points. Hence Nizhny finishes the first round of Eurocup at the first place in its group F.

BC Nizhny Novgorod has at last celebrated its first home win in the fifth tour of VTB United League. Though losing sometimes up to 14 points BC Spartak from Saint-Petersburg was trying hard to catch up with the "citizens" and actually nearly succeeded in the end leaving only 4 points of the advantage. But the host team could not let it happen and fought its way to the final 73:67 winning score.

Letting the opportunity go twice during the fourth tour Eurocup away game with the Turkish TED Ankara, Basketball Club Nizhny Novgorod showed their aggressive basketball at the final quarter and pulled out the one point victory at the last seconds of the match.

During another regular season game of VTB United League Basketball Club Nizhny Novgorod forced one of the favourites of its group BC Unics from Kazan to fight for the win. Though several losses for coach Lukic's team in the last half were crucial for the result.

By mutual agreement BC "Nizhny Novgorod" broke contracts with forwards Semyon Shashkov and Andrey Kirdyachkin. Both players are currently looking for the new teams. Kirdyachkin considers transfer to Superleague's club - Samara-SSEU. Administration of BC "NN" thanks Andrey and Semyon for their work and wishes them success in their future career.

In the third match of the Eurocup BC Nizhny Novgorod secured a very prominent victory over Buducnost from Montenegro.During the whole game the black-and-whites were at an advantage over the guests from Podgorica, which later showed at the final score as +21 pts.

Fighting on equal terms with "Lokomotiv-Kuban" for three and a half quarters of the game, the basketball club "Nizhny Novgorod" lost in the last minute. Most of the meeting, one of the favorites of United League in no way superior to "citizens," but in the end the class of our guests still affected.
